Christian Preschool Leaders Strive Onward at 2020 Christian Preschool Forum

Organised by the Christian Preschool Alliance (CPA) and Kingdomgarten Preschool Services (KPS), the nationwide inter-denominational Christian Preschool Forum 2020 saw more than 100 Christian preschools’ management committee members, centre leaders and their pastors-in-charge, across Singapore, gathering together on 7 November 2020 as one united body in Christ.

ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL FORUM

The Christian Preschool Forum is an annual inter-denominational forum where Christian preschools’ management committees, centre leaders and pastors-in-charge come together to have dialogue and share how the Christian preschool landscape in Singapore is evolving and the eminent challenges, the available support that Christian preschools can get, and, what we can do together as a Christian preschool community to overcome the challenges we are facing and to preserve this important mission field in Singapore. Last year, the inaugural Christian Preschool Forum was held on 21 September 2019 at Faith Methodist Church.

THIS YEAR’S THEME - ONWARD, FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS

The theme for the forum was ONWARD, anchored upon the Bible verses from Hebrews 12, verses 1 to 2.

The recent COVID pandemic has made the Christian preschool mission field in Singapore more challenging, and eminent challenges await us. But, ONWARD we must all march. Fix our eyes on Jesus and stand united in strength in God’s mission field.

The agenda for this year’s forum was as follows:

Reverend Dr David Wong from the Bible Presbyterian Church in Singapore shared an encouraging sermon on Hebrews 12:1-2, to remind all Christian preschools on the importance of fixing our eyes on Jesus, in the all circumstances that we face. You can watch the sermon here.
