The Presbyterian High School Time Capsule
This year is a special one for Presbyterian High School as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary, coincidently the same as our nation. The school has a whole slew of activities to celebrate the moment and first up is the opening of a time capsule. On 11 April 2015, the School Management Committee gathered to open the time capsule that was buried in the school compound 10 years ago during the 40th anniversary. The time capsule itself has three layers, with a total of 17 items. They are mainly memorabilia that the school has produced for various events, such as school newsletters, a song book and a school tie, which are reminders of the school's past. One particular item of note is a stack of wishes and drawings addressed to the school written by the former students in 2005. The time capsule is a good echo of the past, reminding us not tov forget the groundwork of the school that has been laid down so many years ago. As the school celebrates its 50th anniversary, let us pray that God will continue to bless the school, producing students that will benefit the society.
