Bukit Batok Presbyterian Church - Administrative Executive

Position Title
Administrative Executive (Full time)

Primary Function
To assist the Church Manager in the effective and efficient running of the administrative, office management, finance, church property & facilities and general church operations.

Major Duties / Responsibilities

1. Administrative

  • To assist in managing day-to-day administrative functions of the church.
  • Maintain office operations, including handling correspondences, phone calls, emails, walkin general enquiries and general office support.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping and filing systems.
  • Purchase of stationery, church supplies and equipment.

2. Finance

  • To assist in counting of offering collections, bank-in process and offerings report.
  • To process reimbursement request and payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established policies.
  • To maintain and keeps track record of admin, church, staff benefits and expenses for budgeting.
  • To record and issue receipt for income and payment received.
  • To update and keep record of inventory and assets list.

3. Church Property & Facilities

  • To process, record and coordinate on the bookings and use of premises and church facilities.
  • To assist in sourcing for quotation for purchase, repair and maintenance work.
  • To coordinate housekeeping, repairs, renovations and preventive maintenance to ensure the environment and facilities are safe, functional and well-maintained.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Diploma holder or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in an office working environment or service industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, responsible, discreet and professional.
  • Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
