PCS 140th Anniversary: Synod Youth Talking Point 2021 - Christian & Social Inequality

As part of The Presbyterian Church in Singapore's 140th Anniversary celebrations, the Synod Youth Council (SYC) has invited distinguished speaker, Dr Tan Lai Yong, to share with us on the topic of "Christian & Social Inequality: Following Jesus, Turning Tables, Making Space", at the annual Synod Youth Talking Point on 30th December 2021 (Thu), 8pm, via Zoom.

Dr Tan Lai Yong is a medical doctor by training. In 1996, he packed up his bags and moved to Yunnan (China) with his family. Together, they served the villagers, and trained the healthcare workers there. Even after 24 years, Dr Tan is still knee-deep in engaging the poor, and marginalised in Singapore, listening to their needs and advocating for them.
